My parents used to think I had obsessive-compulsive tendencies as a kid. I spent countless hours organizing
and reorganizing my crayons and books so that they looked just right. Turns out I had an early appreciation for
harmony, hierarchy, and balance. Years later I discovered I could put these skills to use in a way that wasn’t so
weird. Fundamentally, things haven’t changed too much since then – now I organize type instead of toys. I think
my work is largely influenced by my strong sense of logic and reason. I live for clean typography and love white
space like I love dark chocolate. Now in my 4th and final year at the Alberta College of Art + Design, I am
focusing my efforts more on conceptual work. I enjoy problem-solving and think the ad industry would be a good
fit for an ambitious critical thinker.
